ABOUT REDBIRD CUSTOM GOLF CLUBS
RedBird Sports, Inc., was launched in 1985 by PGA golf professional
Steve ("Red") Cole and Jay ("Bird") Turner. The
company quickly grew as golfers from professional to amateur learned
they could have custom-fitted golf clubs, based on individual physique and
ability. RedBird Sports has custom-built more than 15,000 sets of custom made golf
clubs, tailoring them to golfers of all sizes-from seven-foot NBA players
to jockeys and kids under four feet in height. As Turner notes, "You're
weren't manufactured on an assembly line. Why should your clubs be?"
Amazing things happen when you use a properly crafted and fitted set
of clubs. Custom-fitted clubs enhance your natural abilities and your
best effort becomes your best result. Creating exactly the right club
for you takes hard work, precise standards, the finest materials, and
uncompromising dedication to quality. Yet, in our opinion, it's not
just a better way to build a club; it's the only way.
As a custom golf club manufacturer, RedBird takes great pride in the classic design of our clubheads. When
our experienced craftsmen look at a golf club, they don't see merely
a head, a shaft, and a grip. They see a person-you. You really are one-of-a-kind.
Which is why RedBird builds custom golf clubs one set at a time. In order to
produce clubs precisely fitted to you, RedBird craftsmen consider your
unique style of play. The length of your arms, legs, and torso. Your
swing, ability, and goals. Golf clubs that fit give you superior performance,
and that in turn results in superior enjoyment of the game.
RedBird Sports is headquartered in Seattle, a tenth of a mile from
the south edge of Jefferson Park Municipal Golf Club, where Jay Turner
learned the game.
